Season two of the Netflix hit comedy series Nobody Wants This has officially begun production on season two and the streamer has confirmed some updates about the cast!
Netflix shared the first photo from set, featuring Kristen Bell and Adam Brody laying on a couch together. The season is currently filming in Los Angeles and will premiere later in 2025.
In season one – only four actors had “series regular” status, but that is going to change for the second season. We also know about some new cast members who have been added.
Also, there will be two new showrunners for season two with Girls‘ Jenni Konner and Bruce Eric Kaplan will be taking over from Jack Burditt. The show’s creator Erin Foster will be back for season two as an executive producer and writer.
Nobody Wants This follows Kristen‘s Joanne falling in love with a rabbi named Noah, played by Adam. At the end of the first season, Joanne realizes she’s not ready to convert to Judaism to be with Noah and tries to break up with him as she wants him to take the head rabbi position. He follows her out of the party they’re at and says he still wants to be with her and they share a kiss.
