Jennifer Lawrence’s Reaction to Being Connor Wood’s Celeb Crush Is Straight Out of Her Playbook
Jennifer Lawrence isn’t trying to get in anyone’s hair—at least metaphorically.
In a literal sense, the Hunger Games star is hoping her new haircare line, Mes, gets into the roots of user’s haircare challenges. And the fact she’s just another celebrity in a long line to release a beauty line is something of which she is critically aware.
In fact, “For the last three years, I have been in this kind of delusional bubble where I can’t let doubt in,” she told The Cut in an interview published Oct. 27. “Now I’m experiencing doubt. I have to pretend I’ve made the greatest thing on earth. Otherwise it gets too scary.”
But in reality, Lawrence doesn’t have to do too much “forced manifestation,” as she called it, to convince herself that her product line—which includes a repair mask, a restyling serum and a volume mist—is a good one.
And even though she’s still plagued by fears that people won’t like or fully understand her products, the No Hard Feelings star is adamant her line is not just a money-grab from a beloved celebrity who fears an uncertain future.
