“Keep sending the love,” the Utah native shared. “I really appreciate when fans reach out and share their connection to my story because that’s why I’m here doing it. It makes me feel like at the end of the day there is beauty in all the madness of reality TV and I have the ability to connect with so many people I normally wouldn’t be able to.”
Reports of a separation between the former couple first surfaced in July, though she and the 59-year-old had faced plenty of ups and downs in their marriage during past seasons of RHOSLC.
Whitney even acknowledged that navigating rough patches has been a major part of their love story while celebrating their wedding anniversary last year.
“I looked up the ‘symbol’ and ‘gift’ that you give someone who is celebrating 16 years and it told me that the symbol is wax,” she wrote on Instagram in November. “At first, I was like wth but I started reading more about it and it’s beautiful.”
“The wax represents the flexibility and the warmth that a couple needs to mold their lives together over time,” the Bravolebrity went on. “This is beautiful and it definitely resonates with how much we have been through yet while always loving each other every step of the way. I love you J, thanks for molding this life with me.”
