The Disney Channel alum revealed she wears disposable diapers when she’s on her period—and her wife Miranda Pearman-Maday has witnessed her preferred menstrual cycle methods first-hand.
“What I’m obsessed with are diapers,” Raven said on a recent episode of her and Miranda’s Tea Time podcast. “I am obsessed with the menstrual cycle diaper.”
The That’s So Raven star shared she started using disposable diapers after noticing she’s “not getting the same types of periods that I did when I was younger.”
“They have mellowed out,” she explained. “The pain is in different areas of my body now. I have different cues.”
And with her cycle’s changes, the 40-year-old grew tired of “sticking things inside” to manage her flow.
That’s why wearing a diaper—with a few extra accessories—has been her preferred way of dealing with the ebbs and flows of her cycle.
“I’m just able to wear a diaper throughout the day,” she said, “with a little baby T-shirt and a binky in my mouth and run around the house—shoutout Rugrats—I’m thriving.”
