Brooke—who is mom to 21-month-old twins Molly and Oliver with husband Steven Oleksy—fell out with her parents prior to Hulk’s death, with Linda confirming their family estrangement in an Instagram Story posted three months before his passing.
“Brooke doesn’t talk to us,” Linda said in a March 2025 video. “She’s had twins. She got married, she didn’t tell us.”
Brooke later weighed in on why she became estranged from her dad, clarifying that they “never had a ‘big fight'” but rather had a series of “respectful disagreements that took an emotional toll” on her health, prompting her to sever ties.
“I know in my heart I did everything I could,” the Brooke Knows Best alum wrote in a July 2025 Instagram post. “He knew I would run through a burning building for him. And in many ways, along the path of life, I did. He knows how deeply, how hard and how purely I loved him. I am at peace knowing this.”
