As the West Wing alum celebrated her latest accolade, she admitted that she was surprised by the win after seeing her potential chance on a prediction website.
“It said I have a 2 percent chance of winning,” she exclusively told E! News backstage. “So, I was like, ‘OK. I’m just going to go and have a great time. I’m so happy to be in the room.'”
As she held the trophy close, however, she had a message for anyone who has doubted their own success.
“This is just to say,” Janney, 66, emphasized, “no one should ever, ever look at the oddsmakers because they don’t know anything.”
