Sister Wives’ Janelle Brown Goes Public With New Boyfriend 4 Years After Kody Brown Split
Sister Wives is entering a new era.
The trailer for season 21 of the TLC reality show revealed that Kody Brown and his remaining wife Robyn Brown have left the show and won’t appear on the upcoming season, marking the first installment they’re missing since Sister Wives premiered in 2010. Instead, the series will focus on his ex-wives Christine Brown Woolley, Janelle Brown and Meri Brown.
“After 16 years of filming Sister Wives,” text on screen at the beginning of the Sept. 14 trailer read, “Kody & Robyn will not be returning to the show.”
Kody’s ex-wives were then shown reacting to the shocking news that he and Robyn have exited the show.
“I don’t know what it means,” Christine said. “I have no idea.”
Meanwhile, Janelle said that she was “flabbergasted” by the news, Meri echoing those same sentiments with, “I was actually surprised when I was told that Kody and Robyn weren’t coming back to the show.”
Though the trailer doesn’t reveal any additional information as to why Robyn and Kody are taking a step back from the series, it does hint at the ways his former wives navigate the news—which includes a reunion between all three women.
