Cage’s home disaster comes a little over a year after several of his Hollywood peers faced massive devastation in a series of wildfires that swept across Southern California in January 2025.
At the time, Kate Hudson, Leighton Meester and Adam Brody, Paris Hilton were among the many whose homes were partially or fully destroyed in the blaze.
“I think that it’s something that you would never imagine you’d ever see in your lifetime,” Hudson admitted to E! News last February, just a month after losing her home, “or experience.”
Nevertheless, the Running Point actress emphasized that she was heartened by the way her community supported one another amid the losses.
“People who live in Los Angeles, we love Los Angeles, and everyone’s just risen to the occasion,” she mused. “Now we just have to go through that, continue to support each other and rebuild.”
