Tennis Channel announced it will exclusively broadcast the 2026 International Tennis Hall of Fame induction ceremony.
This year’s event will honor 20-time major champion Roger Federer and journalist and former professional player Mary Carillo. Veteran Tennis Channel analyst Brett Haber will open the celebration, with sports journalist Tom Rinaldi serving as master of ceremonies.
The ceremony will air live on Tennis Channel and stream on the Tennis Channel app Aug. 29 at 6:30 p.m. ET. The induction will take place at the International Tennis Hall of Fame in Newport, Rhode Island.
“TC Live” will be on the grounds in Rhode Island for a pre-show beginning at 6 p.m. ET. The pre-show will feature Hall of Famer Martina Navratilova, Prakash Amritraj and Dani Klupenger.
Former pro, coach and commentator Brad Gilbert will be on-site to host a special episode of Tennis Channel’s “The Big T” podcast, which is set to air Saturday morning before the festivities.
Tennis Channel, Tennis Channel 2 and the Tennis Channel app will be showcasing the best of Federer’s on-court moments at matches beginning Aug. 28 and throughout the weekend.
Federer is the first man to win 20 major singles titles—eight titles at Wimbledon, six at the Australian Open, five at the US Open and one at the French Open (Roland-Garros)—and will be honored for his storied career.
Carillo is a former professional tennis player turned broadcasting pioneer known for storytelling and advocacy for the game. She joined Tennis Channel as a commentator in 2011.
