“I like to cook, so I do like to cook for girls,” he continued. “And I’m a homebody, so I really do like to focus and be very thoughtful. I feel like I’m a thoughtful person, so yeah.”
Meanwhile, Crawford confessed that proximity played a part in his romantic life while filming Gossip Girl, admitting that he had hooked up with at least one costar because “those things are inevitable.”
“People probably think it’s these sexy scenes or whatever,” he noted, “that’s like the worst part of it, with 60 people watching. It’s the downtime. You’re doing this show, you’re on set for like 12-14 hours a day and usually there’s some pretty interesting people from all walks of life.”
However, Crawford clarified that he didn’t date any of the main cast—which included Blake Lively, Leighton Meester and Taylor Momsen—but did hook up with guest stars, explaining on Armchair Expert in May that it was “a way to meet people.”
As for how the Covenant star is able to determine if a relationship is viable?
“The danger is if you connect right away with sense of humor, at least for me,” he confessed on Call Her Daddy. “Like if you have a rapport and can kind of banter, and give each other s–t. I’m like, ‘Oh, I gotta watch out.'”
