Grimes took to social media to publicly discuss parenting with Elon Musk, saying that the billionaire was ignoring a “medical crisis” that one of their three children was suffering.
The 36-year-old singer shares X Æ A-12, Exa Dark Sideræl and Techno Mechanicus with the 53-year-old.
On Thursday (February 20), she pleaded with him to get in touch so that they could discuss the care of one who is unwell and at risk of suffering “life long impairment.”

“Plz respond about our child’s medical crisis,” Grimes wrote in a since-deleted post on X (formerly Twitter), via TMZ. “I am sorry to do this publicly but it is no longer acceptable to ignore this situation. This requires immediate attention.”
She continued, writing, “If you don’t want to talk to me can you please designate or hire someone who can so that we can move forward on solving this. This is urgent, Elon.
“I’m not giving any details but he won’t respond to texts calls or emails and has skipped every meeting and our child will suffer life long impairment if he doesn’t respond asap, so I need him to f-cking respond and if I have to apply public pressure than I guess that’s where we’re at.
Fans on X implied to Grimes that she was being “shadow banned,” meaning that her posts were not circulating. This prompted her to delete them and write, “I am deleting them now because if they’re being shadow banned and not eliciting a response then all it is is a media circus at the expense of the kids.”
Elon does not appear to have publicly addressed her pleas.
She did not specify which of her children was unwell, but we hope that they are able to get the help that they need.
