Luke Wilson is officially enlightened to parenthood.
Following the news that the Hawk actor welcomed his first baby with girlfriend Kendall Yates, he gave an update on life as a new dad.
“I’m doing pretty well,” Wilson exclusively told E! News’ Will Marfuggi at the July 9 premiere of Netflix’s The Hawk. “It’s nice to be out before I go back to work on my shift.”
The 54-year-old added that he’s “very happy about” his parenthood chapter.
His first comments on life as a dad come after multiple outlets reported that Yates, 24, had given birth to their first baby together, noting that the couple brought their newborn to a press reception for Wilson’s new Netflix series.
The duo—who were first linked in 2023—reportedly arrived at the Resort at Pelican Hill in Newport Beach, Calif., carrying their little one in a carrier and introduced their new addition to several of Wilson’s castmates, including Jimmy Tatro.
