Every summer, it seems that a new sunglass silhouette hits the zeitgeist in a way that makes you think every trend-setting celebrity has secretly conspired to add the same sun-blocking accessory to their rotation once temperatures hit 70 degrees (or 90 or 100…).

The trend has continued its streak on the runway this year too. Valentino, Fendi, Tory Burch, Yves Saint Laurent, Celine and Balenciaga (once again) co-signed the buggy trend with dramatic, almost humorously large, silhouettes.
For some, the style never went anywhere.
