Tony's 2026 VIP Speakeasy at Radio City Music Hall

As any diehard Broadway fan knows, the most storied party of Tonys night doesn’t occur until 1 a.m at The Carlyle Hotel. But this year, the biggest stars of the night began the party early — in a tucked-away speakeasy on the second mezzanine of Radio City.

Starting at 4:30 p.m. on Sunday afternoon, VIP guests — including Usher, Sarah Paulson, Cole Escola, and Queen Latifah — headed upstairs to sip on signature whisky cocktails at the Baccarat x Dewar’s Scotch Whisky Speakeasy. As Whitney Leavitt, who made her Broadway debut in “Chicago” this year, said on the carpet: “Broadway likes to party!”

It was impossible to look around the wraparound balcony without spotting an A-list star: Bowen Yang and Matt Rogers surrounded by fawning fans of “Las Culturistas”; celebrity-favorite designer Christian Siriano canoodling in a corner with Bronwyn Newport; NSYNC members Joey Fatone and JC Chasez enjoying an unexpected reunion; Rosie ‘ODonnell striking a pose with the Dewar’s bottles; Usher behind the bar, whipping up cocktails made with Dewar’s 21 Year Old Oloroso.

The menu: The Stage Door Canteen, The Curtain Call and the 21st Measure — all available to the public exclusively at the Baccarat Hotel New York Bar, Winnies Jazz Club and Casa Lever through the end of this week. The Stage Door Canteen

2 oz Dewar’s 21 Year Old Oloroso
0.75 Rocky’s Botanical
0.75 oz Lemon Juice
1oz Honey/Lemongrass Syrup
Garnish: Dehydrated Lemon

Method: Shake and double strain.

The Curtain Call

2 oz Dewar’s 21 Year Old Oloroso
0.25 oz Kirsch 0.25 oz Lemon Juice
0.25 oz Simple Syrup
1 oz Blood Orange Puree
0.5 oz Noyaux 5 Dashes Fee Foam
Garnish: Lemon peel, raspberry, blackberry

Method: Shake and double strain

The 21st Measure

2 oz Dewar’s 21 Year Old Oloroso
0.25 oz Benedictine
0.25 oz Demerara
4 Dashes Chocolate Mole Bitters
3 Dashes Orange Bitters
Garnish: Thyme Sprig

Method: Stir with ice and strain.DDDD

While the unaired pre-show kicked off at 5:30 p.m, most guests stayed in the speakeasy before heading to the theater to catch the official opening act at 8 p.m. Afterwards, guests headed to Rockefeller Center for the official after-party, where they enjoyed ShakeShack burgers, lobster rolls, stuffed mushrooms, Korean fried chicken and, yes, lots more whisky.
