“When I got my opportunity to add my two cents when it was coming to Broadway I jumped at the chance,” Roach reflected to E!, “because I have a deep connection to ballroom. I was on a small show called Legendary. Everything just made so much sense, so I’m so proud that I did it and I’m so proud to be here tonight.”
Since it premiered in April, the show has featured surprise cameos from celebrities, including Andy Cohen, Anna Wintour and even Roach’s longtime collaborator Zendaya. However, there’s still one A-lister the fashion expert hopes will make an appearance.
“Hopefully Ariana [Grande] does it,” Roach gushed. “She’s on tour right now but the tour comes to New York in a couple of weeks. She’s going to go see it either way, but I would love for her to go on stage.”
