Preston Pippen is getting real about his newfound reality TV fame.
As it turns out, the son of Scottie Pippen and Larsa Pippen was well prepared for the drama that came with starring on Netflix’s new docuseries Calabasas Confidential thanks to some sage advice from his Real Housewives of Miami mama.
“She just wanted to be myself,” Preston told E! News’ Erin Lim Rhodes in an exclusive interview. “Don’t really trust anybody, because even though we’re all friends, once in front of a camera, people are gonna act different.”
And Larsa’s warning couldn’t have been more accurate.
As the 23-year-old added, “And that came true. So, I’m glad I took that.”
Of course, joining the series meant Preston would have to address his famous family’s headline-making history in the press, including Larsa’s multi-million dollar divorce from the NBA legend, which was finalized in 2021. (The exes share four kids in addition to Scottie’s four older children from previous relationships.)
