Euphoria may be over, but Storm Reid is still feeling euphoric.
The actress, who did not return to the HBO show’s third season to reprise her role as the younger sister to Zendaya‘s Rue Bennett character, poked fun at her absence on the May 31 episode.
Sharing a video of herself at a recording studio, Storm, who played Gia Bennett, jokingly wrote on TikTok ahead of the series finale, “sorry rue i’m busy in the stu.”
And when one fan quipped that they forgive Storm since she wasn’t onscreen for the episode’s “last 7 minutes,” which saw Rue tragically die from taking prescription painkillers laced with fentanyl, Storm wrote back in the comments section, “were you ?”
Indeed, Storm did not have a large role on Euphoria‘s last episode. However, archive footage of her from season one was briefly shown as Rue hallucinated close friends and families in her final moments.
Still, the 22-year-old is grateful to have been part of Euphoria‘s first two seasons. As Storm told Rotten Tomatoes in 2024, “I am so, so indebted to the cast and the crew of that show.”
