The best boxers in the world travel to “The Lone Star State” for the Most Valuable Promotions Women (MVPW) boxing event. For the main matchup, which is also a rematch, Texan Stephanie Han (12-0-0) defends her WBA Lightweight World Championship title against New Mexican Holly Holm (34-3-3). The title bout is scheduled for 10 rounds.

While the pair first fought in Puerto Rico in January, the rematch is already scheduled for May. Stephanie Han won the first bout by an unanimous decision in the seventh round, while there was a bit of a controversy with how the match ended. It ended abruptly with a severe head gash to Han’s forehead, as the judges stopped the fight to score it. The rematch would show if Han vs. Holm can go the distance with a clean fight.
