Hailey Bieber Addresses Rhode’s Future After Sale

Hailey Bieber is not done, hallelujah.

Nearly one year after the Rhode founder sold her skincare and beauty company to e.l.f. Beauty, she revealed where she plans to take her empire next.

“I’m an entrepreneur at the end of the day,” Hailey told TIME in an interview published April 30. “I want to expand in business and I want to be able to do more things—but I’m definitely not in a rush.”

Indeed, while Hailey teased plans to diversify her business portfolio eventually, she’s still focused on Rhode—noting they plan to expand operations to all European countries in “early fall,” and have hopes to continue that expansion into South America. (Specifically Brazil, in honor of her mom Kennya Baldwin’s home country.)

Trust, she’s riding for Rhode.

“You hear a lot of stories that founders—they sell their business and get pushed out,” she explained, “Or they leave or they just get a payday and decide to move on.”
