Manchester United midfielder Kobbie Mainoo has signed a new contract until 2031, bringing an end to months of uncertainty over his future.
England international Mainoo, who turned 21 this month, has agreed an improved five-year deal and completed the paperwork at the club’s Carrington training centre on Wednesday.
His previous contract, which was agreed shortly before he broke into the United first team, was set to expire in the summer of 2027, though there was an option to extend it by a further year.
