Temu Sells Meat, Steaks

Where’s the beef? Apparently, it’s at Temu.

The online retailer known for selling heavily discounted goods shipped from China is now offering a selection of meats—including ribeye steaks, pork chops, waygu burger patties and bacon—ready to be delivered to your door.

The products are shipped from a “local warehouse” by Grumpy Butcher, a U.S.-based premium frozen food company that also distributes to Amazon and Walmart, per its Temu listing.

In fact, the brand is Temu’s first seller of frozen foods.

“We had our first order the very next day after launching on Temu,” Grumpy Butcher founder Denys Gorbatiuk said in a 2025 profile with Temu. “Orders started flooding in and, funny enough, I found myself packing Temu boxes by hand with my warehouse team.”

Gorbatiuk said 12 percent of the company’s online sales came from Temu alone within just weeks of its June 2025 launch on the e-commerce website. The exposure also tapped into a new audience.
