Elle Fanning‘s latest project required more than one personality.
When the actress brought aspiring writer Margo Millet to life in the upcoming series Margo’s Got Money Troubles, she also had an unsuspecting alter ego: her character’s OnlyFans persona HungryGhost.
“With HungryGhost, even the costumes that we came up with,” Elle explained in an exclusive interview with E! News’ Will Marfuggi, “I love that they’re kind of DIY at times. We have Susie—played by Thaddea Graham—who’s my roommate, and she’s a cosplayer, and she designs costumes.”
“So, we were thinking, ‘Gosh, what would Susie design for Margo?'” she continued. “We had a lot of fun with it.”
The 28-year-old—who, along with older sister Dakota Fanning, is an executive producer on the show—took her OnlyFans character’s aesthetics even further.
“We decided, ‘Why don’t we just paint myself blue?'” she recalled. “So on those days, it took a lot of time in the makeup chair, but they had to cover me in this turquoise paint. But I liked it.”
