Glorify and Great American Media have partnered to bring more faith-focused content into the world. The Christian devotional app and entertainment network have set a multi-project slate of content inspired by the media company’s original films and series, the first of which is “The Fabric of Faith,” a 7-day audio series streaming now.
“The Fabric of Faith” serves as a companion series for the Great American Pure Flix film “Blessings in Disguise.” Shae Robins, who starred in the film, will voice the series as her character, Katie, over the seven-day audio.
Robins stars with Casey Elliott “Blessings in Disguise” which launched on March 27 on Great American Pure Flix, followed by Great American Family and GFAM+ March 28. Per the logline, “In ‘Blessings in Disguise,’ Robins plays a talented fashion designer who secretly stitches a line of scripture into every custom piece, while Elliott portrays a dedicated woodworker searching for a more meaningful purpose for his craft.”
Beyond “The Fabric of Faith,” each title will extend Great American stories into “audio devotional experiences designed to deepen users’ connection with God through prayer, reflection and more,” the companies said. Danica McKellar, who is set to star in an upcoming Christmas title for Great American Media, will also be a part of the content.
“Storytelling has always been one of the most powerful ways young people engage with each other and the world around them. Partnering with Great American Media allows us to take stories people are already connecting with and extend them into meaningful devotional experiences that help them grow in their relationship with God,” said Glorify founder/CEO Henry Costa in a statement.
Great American Media is the latest to join Glorify’s growing number of devotionals and courses. Previous collaborations have involved the creators of “The Chosen,” global nonprofit Mercy Ships, Jacob Coyne’s Stay Here movement, YouVersion’s Global Bible Month, Hillsong’s Joel Houston and Churchome leaders Judah & Chelsea Smith.
“Great American Media is committed to meeting families where they are – whether that’s in their living rooms, on set with our talent, or in the quiet moments of personal reflection throughout the day,” said Great American Media president/CEO Bill Abbott. “Our partnership with Glorify allows us to extend our storytelling beyond the screen and into meaningful daily devotional experiences, connecting with like-minded believers in a way that is authentic, accessible and deeply personal.”
