Casting Society’s 2025 Artios Awards Winners List

The Casting Society (CSA), which “honors excellence in casting across feature film, television (scripted and unscripted), commercials and theater” has unveiled its winners during its annual Artios Awards ceremony on Wednesday night.

The film winners include Wicked, A Complete Unknown and Conclave, while TV winners include Hacks, Shogun and RuPaul’s Drag Race. Emilia Perez won the award in the new international feature category. The Wild Robot won best animated feature.

Hosted by Janelle James in Los Angeles, Jordan Carlos in New York and Susan Wokoma in London, England, the ceremonies hosted over 1,500 guests across the three locations.

At the L.A. ceremony, the Hoyt Bowers Award for Excellence in Casting was awarded to casting director John Papsidera (Oppenheimer), presented to him by Jason Reitman. In New York, the Marion Dougherty New York Apple Award was presented to casting director Daniel Swee (Lincoln Center Theater), while the Capelier-Shaw Award for Excellence in Casting was awarded to Juliette Meanger, presented by filmmaker Luca Guadagnino in London.

Also during the L.A. ceremony, CSA President Destiny Lilly announced that the organization will be adding a new category in 2026, called the London Theater Award, which honors “excellence in casting in U.K. theater, as the organization continues to expand its global presence.” The CSA also donated to a variety of organizations supporting Los Angeles Wildfire Relief.
