‘Tires’ Season 3 Adds Four to Cast


“Tires” has added four new cast members for its upcoming third season at Netflix.

Variety has learned exclusively that Rachel Blanchard, Garret Dillahunt, Anjelica Bette Fellini, and Matt Walsh are all set to appear in the new season of the comedy series. They join returning stars Shane Gillis, Steve Gerben, Chris O’Connor, Kilah Fox, Stavros Halkias, and Thomas Haden Church. Previously announced guest stars for the season include Jamie Lynn Sigler, Billy Magnussen, Taylor Misiak, Sofia Hasmik, Bobby Lee, and Dan Soder.

Blanchard will play Bonnie, who is described as “Phil’s (Church) warm, eccentric new girlfriend who brings her spiritual healing rituals into his life and the shop, whether the guys welcome it or not.”

Blanchard recently starred in the hit YA series “The Summer I Turned Pretty” at Amazon in the role of Susannah Fisher. Her other TV credits include “Peep Show,” “Clueless,” “Flight of the Conchords,” and “You Me Her.” She has starred in films such as “Deep Water,” “Snakes on a Plane,” and “Without a Paddle.”

Dillahunt will play Thatch, said to be “Frank’s (Soder) scary brother.” Dillahunt has previously starred in shows like “Fear the Walking Dead,” “The Mindy Project,” and “Raising Hope,” while he has recently been seen in the hit ABC series “High Potential” and will play a role in the HBO-DC series “Lanterns.”

Fellini will play Cara, who is “a chaotic spitfire with a direct, playful presence that’s impossible to miss.” Fellini returns to Netflix with this role, having starred in the series “Teenage Bounty Hunters” at the streamer in 2020. She is also known for roles in the Fox-Marvel series “The Gifted” and for the Wes Anderson film “The French Dispatch.”

Walsh plays Claude, “an employee at Tire World.” Walsh is a highly-accomplished comedian and a founding member of Upright Citizens Brigade. He received two Emmy Award nominations for his work in the hit HBO comedy “Veep” and has been in series like “Vladimir” at Netflix, “Ghosts” at CBS, “Manhunt” at Apple TV, and “Brooklyn Nine-Nine” among many others. His film credits include “The Hangover,” “Ted,” and “Old School.”

Blanchard is repped by Buchwald and The Nord Group. Dillahunt is repped by Independent Artist Group and D2 Management. Fellini is repped by Gersh. Walsh is repped by UTA, Artists First, and Ginsburg Daniels Kallis.

Gillis and McKeever co-created “Tires” with Gerben. All three are executive producers, with McKeever also directing. Brandon James of Rough House also executive produces along with Brian Stern and Kenneth Slotnick for AGI Entertainment Media & Management as well as Becky Astphan. Writers on this season include Gillis, Gerben, McKeever, Charles Blyzniuk, Chris O’Connor, Amy McLeish, Bobby Telatovich, Sam Mazany, and Grace Cohen.
