BBC Radio 2 presenter Scott Mills is out at the company after allegations over his “personal conduct.”
According to BBC News, a BBC spokesperson said: “While we do not comment on matters relating to individuals we can confirm Scott Mills is no longer contracted and has left the BBC.”
The Mirror, who was the first to break the news, reported on Monday morning that Mills — who hosts the BBC’s beloved “Breakfast Show” — had been fired following an allegation that was made about his “personal conduct.” According to The Mirror, Mills was taken off air last Tuesday while the BBC assessed the situation and terminated over the weekend. On Monday morning, Gary Davies started “The Breakfast Show” by saying he was filling in for Mills.
A representative for Mills did not immediately respond to Variety‘s request for comment.
