“Heated Rivalry,” Jonathan Bailey, Lady Gaga and Cynthia Erivo were among the winners at the 14th annual LGBTQ Queerties Awards on Tuesday night in Los Angeles.
“Heated Rivalry” was named best TV Drama. Bailey received the Badass award, considered the top honor of the ceremony. Gaga’s “Abracadabra” was named best anthem while Erivo nabbed two awards: Film Performance for her work in “Wicked: For Good” and Read for her memoir “Simply More.”
Special honors were presented to Margaret Cho (Icon Award), Megan Stalter (Vanguard Award) and Mae Martin (Groundbreaker Award) The ceremony was hosted by Trixie Mattel and will stream exclusively on streaming service WOW Presents Plus beginning March 19.
“The Queerties represent the true voice of our community,” said Scott Gatz, CEO of Q.Digital, Queerty’s parent company. “These winners were chosen by millions of LGBTQ+ people and allies who see themselves reflected in these stories, performances, and cultural moments. This is our community celebrating our own.”
