Samuel L Jackson was Uncle Sam, literally, during the 2025 Super Bowl Halftime Show at Caesars Superdome on Sunday (February 9) in New Orleans, La.
The 76-year-old Oscar-winning kicked off Kendrick Lamar‘s halftime show, and served as a narrator throughout the entire performance, making multiple appearances.
Samuel was just one of a few celebrity guests who joined Kendrick‘s halftime performance!

“Salutations. It’s your uncle, Sam! And this is the great American game,” Samuel said at the start of the halftime show.
He later returned, saying, “No, no, no, no, no! Too loud, too reckless, too ghetto. Mr Lamar, do you really know how to play the game? Then tighten up!”
After that, the camera cut back to Kendrick in the middle of his dancers, who were in the formation of the American flag.
