There’s already been an awkward interaction on the red carpet, and it involves Babyface and Chappell Roan!
Video from the red carpet is circulating on social media of a moment between red carpet correspondents for AP and the legendary 65-year-old songwriter and record producer.
In the clip, Babyface is in the middle of speaking when the reporters notice that the 26-year-old Rise and Fall of a Midwest Princess singer is coming up behind him.
“Chappell!” one reporter interrupts, as he awkwardly steps aside and allows Chappell to walk up to the reporters.
Social media users have been calling the interaction “rude” and “disrespectful.”
